About Us:

Southampton University Libertarian Society is a free association of students at Southampton University who support maximising personal freedom whilst minimising or abolishing state intervention into peoples lives.

Libertarianism is a diverse group of political philosophies emphasising personal liberty and individual responsibility. Libertarian philosophy spans the range from anarcho-capitalism to voluntary socialism.

This blog contains information about the society and Libertarianism in general, as well as individual articles on current affairs from a libertarian perspective.

The Southampton University Freedom Society is now a fully affiliated member of the Southampton University Student’s Union.

We’ll be holding our AGM this Thursday. Check Facebook for details. I’ll probably be building our website in the Uni webspace over the summer. It will have a new blog. Hopefully with more than one contributor Some of these posts may or may not get migrated.
